Responsibilities
- Design batch and real-time data ingestion and processing pipelines.
- Develop monitoring, testing, and recovery processes.
- Improve performance, cost, and scalability.
- Apply access controls, security, and data governance.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or software engineering.
- Proficiency in Python, SQL, and orchestration tools.
- Experience with streaming technologies and data warehouses.
- Good knowledge of cloud services and containers.
Experience
- 5+ years in data engineering.
- Experience running critical data pipelines in production.
- Experience in code review and mentoring engineers.
