1. What Are Cookies and Local Storage?
Cookies are small files created in the browser by the website or by a third-party service. There are also similar technologies, such as Session Storage and Local Storage, that store limited data within the browser. We use these technologies to operate and protect the website's functions and to maintain the continuity of the user experience.
2. Technologies Currently in Use
mw-chat-v2-historyStores a limited conversation history in Session Storage so that the assistant can understand follow-up questions. It usually remains for the duration of the browser session and is removed when the session ends, depending on the browser's behavior.mw_last_leadStores in Local Storage the request number, the time of submission and the end time of the 24-hour countdown after a request has been successfully submitted, in order to preserve the confirmation experience.3. Do We Use Advertising or Analytics Cookies?
In the current version of the website, we do not use Google Analytics, Meta Pixel or advertising cookies intended for behavioral tracking. If we add in the future optional analytics or advertising tools that require notice or consent, we will update this notice and the preference management mechanism before or upon their activation, as required by law.
4. Does the AI Assistant Rely on a Third-Party Cookie?
Mouamah Assistant messages are sent from the browser to Mouamah's server, which then communicates with the AI model provider. This connection is made from the server and does not require the model provider's interface to be loaded directly in your browser. However, the local PHP session is used for security and rate-limiting purposes, as described above.
5. Managing Storage in Your Browser
You can delete cookies and site data from your browser settings, or block certain types of storage. Blocking essential cookies may disrupt rate limiting or some chat and form functions. Deleting Local Storage may reset the confirmation countdown after a request is submitted, and deleting Session Storage clears the conversation context saved in the browser.
6. Third-Party Services
Embedded third-party services, such as Google Maps, may place their own storage technologies. These technologies are subject to the third party's policies and to your browser settings, and we do not treat their presence as evidence of your consent to undisclosed advertising or tracking.
7. Updates
We review this notice when new tools are added to the website. If our use of these technologies changes materially, we will update this page and add a consent or preferences mechanism where required.
